Dr. Waleed Almulla, DMD
Dr. Waleed Almulla started his career as an engineer after completing his post-graduate degree in engineering. He worked at Intel in microchip design, where he performed on several projects, gaining experience in planning, analyzing, problem solving, communication, and solution implementation. Dr. Waleed Almulla has always had a passion for caring and helping others, which inspired him to become a dentist.
“During my time at Intel, I found myself enjoying working with others while helping my team members develop and overcome challenges. I knew my calling in life was more than just solving problems, but to also help people during this process. This inspired me to want to be a health care provider and ultimately become a dentist.” - Dr. Waleed Almulla.
Dr. Waleed Almulla graduated from Oregon Health and Sciences University Dental School, where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. Since then, he’s spent 50% of his practice in Oregon city and the other 50% in rural Oregon serving the underserved population. He’s provided comprehensive and emergency care to children and adults, and has helped many individuals with generalized oral disease restore their dental functionality and smile. Since graduation, he’s pursued training in orthodontics and oral surgery, improving his ability to provide a wider range of comprehensive care to his patients. Dr. Waleed Almulla is also a member of both the Oregon Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Waleed Almulla gained a wide spectrum of experiences throughout his practice and his life. He believes in good planning and spends the necessary time to evaluate all options to solve a specific issue. He enjoys communicating with patients and explaining their options to allow them to make informed decisions about their dental care.
During Dr. Waleed Almulla’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and his little puppy, hiking, exploring the great outdoors, going on long walks, swimming, and riding his motorcycle.
